Great day (sunny), great support (Garry and Trish and the tent), great teammates (Chris M and Tony), great race (fast 25 mph average), great skills (all three of us avoiding the crash on the back side when two guys came to grief), great time (felt good following Chris around the course), and it all added up to an average result, 9th among the kids my age.
