First race of the season…overcoming obstacles

posted in: Training | 1

This has been a tough week in preparation for my first race of the 2015 race season.  Got something over the weekend and tried to beat it but was unable to shake it until today.  The unknown energy drainer knocked me down for nearly a week.  Bother.

Hopefully, all the previous work still remains.  It seems to be all that I have presently.

Want to begin the season stronger than I did the year before.

Have some goals.  Looking forward to racing smarter and going for the glory.  Guts and glory.  Guts and glory is my mantra this season.  Look out a steam engine is coming.

Will measure my fitness this Saturday in Sacramento.

Looking for a good showing in Cal Aggie and beyond.

Mark, we are all looking forward to seeing you be stronger, faster and successful this year. Lots of sickness in circulation, sorry you got it.
